[IMG]http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e320/Megaman1124/RyuseiLogo.png[/IMG] Ryūsei no Rokkuman ("Rockman of the Shooting Star") is an upcoming Mega Man video game for the Nintendo DS developed by Capcom. It has some similarities to the Mega Man Battle Network series, but is still a separate entity. It features the adventures of a fifth grade student named Subaru Hoshikawa , and his FM, War-Rock. War-Rock is an extraterrestrial who can merge with Hoshikawa to become this series' Rockman. When in Rockman form, Subaru's body is covered in a unique armor and War-Rock acts as his "rock buster". Like the Battle Network games, Ryūsei no Rockman is in the same style (Sprites, View...etc) as Mega Man Battle Network, but unlike them, its battle system which is in 3D, and the battles are viewed from behind Rockman instead of to the side of the battle. Other new gameplay elements include an "Access Gauge" and "Brother Band". Ryūsei no Rockman's environment also seems to be heavily based upon Mega Man Battle Network; however, instead of exploring the internet, Rockman traverses paths of radio waves directly above the normal human world. It has been confirmed that Ryūsei no Rockman will consist of three versions: Leo, Draco and Pegasus. The official
site reveals that Ryūsei no Rockman is compatable with
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection; however, it has not yet been revealed how it
will utilize the service.
